Sandblasting on Granite and Stone
I engrave my designs on dark granite, which is usually pre-selected and cut by the supplier according to my templates. However, I also work with the stone or granite in its natural form.
I personally visit the supplier to choose the specific section of the stone I want to be cut. Often, this requires purchasing a larger slab, as I may use only the central portion while discarding the sides, which can result in a higher cost.

THE JAZZ

My most prestigious award-winning artwork was created on dark green granite. When working with stones, I prefer to preserve their natural shape along the edges. To achieve this, I use chisels and a hammer to sculpt the edges, shaping them according to my artistic vision and sensitivity.
When selecting a stone, I consider its tone, texture, and whether it will provide enough contrast after sandblasting so that the design stands out.
